Kayci's Graduation
Senior Year 2026

Kayci Isabel Tafalla is the daughter of Kristi and Paul A. Tafalla and the sister of Michael Tafalla. She was born in Dallas, Texas. Before attending Bishop Lynch High School, Kayci attended White Rock Montessori from Pre-K through eighth grade.
During her freshman year at Bishop Lynch, Kayci played on the freshman basketball team before joining the Brigade her sophomore year. Kayci has been on the varsity team for all three years and has earned a White Citation each year, along with numerous ribbons. She currently serves as head of the Brigade’s Social Committee.
Kayci has been inducted into the National English Honor Society, the National Honor Society, and Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society. She served as a Future Friar Host for two years before being selected as a Bishop Lynch Ambassador. She also participated in the Paws for Purpose and Texas Advocacy Project clubs and completed the Texas Advocacy Project’s Teen Ambassadors of Hope (TAoH) statewide leadership program.
Kayci has been an active member of the DePorres House community throughout her time at Bishop Lynch. She served as Freshman Representative, Sophomore Representative, Junior Representative, Mentor Group Historian, and currently serves as House Historian.
Outside of school, Kayci has danced since age two and competed since age four. Over the past 16 years, she has received many awards and recognitions for her performances. She trains at Fantasia Dance and Arts in Rockwall, Texas, where she also serves as a teacher assistant for the Tap Troupe when time allows.
Kayci would like to thank her family, friends, teachers, and her dogs for their love and support over the past few years, especially when she broke her foot and later when she was sick for several months.
Kayci plans to attend Tarleton State University, where she will major in Kinesiology with minors in dance and broadcasting. Kayci hopes to pursue a career in sports broadcasting before eventually opening her own dance studio.
